From a strategic perspective, do you believe our participation at the fair aligns with our company’s broader goals, and were there specific highlights that stood out for you?
The participation in the show showed the top-tier engineering our company does when compared to our competitors. No one else has, or offered a 4-in-1 machine that allowed users to change between mixers. Furthermore, when potential customers were shown the mixer, and then told the price, and they were surprised.

Given your overall vision for the company, were there any observations or insights you gleaned from the fair that we should incorporate into our future initiatives?
Yes, we talked with several end users and as nano-tech evolves, the need to find great solutions for abrasives, corrosives, and hi-temp applications

In terms of brand representation and positioning, how do you think we measured up at the fair compared to our competitors?
Our competitors outshined us in branding and in “hype” in the beginning, yet our technology is what really shined.

From your conversations and observations, what do you perceive to be the upcoming challenges in our industry, and how should we position ourselves to navigate or even capitalize on them?
The biggest issue is competition. As we progress in opening up trade routes, India and the continued progress of China and competitors come out of China, the issues of advancing technology need to continue so we stay at the top.

A Platform for Resource-Conserving Solutions

A highlight of the event was the debut of the VDMA Special Show. This show focused on resource-conserving solutions and offered insights into the process chain of the bulk solids industry. It covered a wide range of topics from mechanical and thermal processes to air technology. Special Show discusses German air quality regulation changes and skilled personnel shortage.

Stagetalks: A Forum for Experts

The event featured two versions of the expert forum “stagetalks”. Stagetalks I addressed all POWTECH visitor segments, while stagetalks II allowed vendors of pharmaceutical processing technology to showcase their solutions through separate streams.

A Launchpad for Start-ups

Start-ups were given a separate platform at the “Innovation made in Germany” Pavilion. Here, German start-ups and young companies promoted their innovations and interacted with interested visitors. The range on display included heat pumps, creative sealing and mixing systems, coating technology for micro powders and dust protection systems, as well as digital solutions like process analysis, live dashboards, process simulation, and digital twins.

Special Highlights for Students

The event also featured special highlights for students. In addition to this, attendees wanting to experience a live explosion in a safe environment had the opportunity to do so twice a day.
